At the beginning of 2010, we formed a social team and our aim was to organise social events for members, family and friends along with Heath Rugby Club, which would enable members to get to know each other and help new members integrate into the club.

But just over 6 months into the year we seem to have struggled to attract the level of interest that we had hoped for in the events that we have organised so far.

Looking forward to the second half of the year, we are asking for your help with a view to increasing the amount of interest in the social events and so we are asking for your feedback. If you have been to any of the social events your comments would be appreciated, also if you haven’t, we would be interested to know why? with a view to holding/not holding these events next year. Along with any ideas you have of things you would like the club to do?

The following events have been organized so far for the remainder of the year, so if you could let us know if you are interested in joining us that would be really helpful.

Night out in Sowerby Bridge

Sunday 19 September

5 Mile walk around Digley Reservoir in Huddersfield, followed by Sunday lunch at the Fleece at Holme - Everyone welcome

The walk will be across open moorland with spectacular views – on a clear day you can see Ferry Bridge Power Station.

We are booked in to eat at 4.00pm – please note the pub stops serving food at 5.00pm on a Sunday.
