Krumlin on road   6 – 7 miles approx

From The Red Lion turn right,  take the top road past the school. go down Stainland Dene

but take the right fork towards Sonocco.  keep following the road up with Sonocco on

your right hand side.  up the hill to Krumlin.  various routes back.  ie: turn right and via

main road go down Saddleworh road to West Vale and back up to Stainland.  or turn right

and at Barkisland junction turn right and go down to Beestonley and back up to stainland.
