Jagger Green 7.5 miles

Turn left out of Heath car park and continue through West Vale towards Stainland, past the petrol station and as you begin the climb up the hill, take the left turn towards the industrial estate down Burrwood Way.  Continue through the estate and along Rawroyds and across the crossroads onto Jagger Green Lane.  Follow the steep twists & turns until you reach New Road on the left.  Continue along New Road for a short way and then take a left up Old Lindley Road.  Continue along the road, under the M62 and take a right at the junction of the busy Lindley Moor Road.  Continue down the road with the motorway to your right until you get to the roundabout.  Carefully work your way across the slip road and along the side of New Hey Road towards Outlane.  Keep on this road until you reach the right hand fork of Stainland Road.  Simply follow Stainland Road and all it's twists, turn, uphills and that long downhill all the way through Sowood, Stainland Village & Holywell Green all the way back to West Vale and home - well done!
