Beestonley - off road/ road  7 miles approx

From The Red Lion turn right, take the top road and  past the school go down to Sonocco.

Go through Sonocco   that’s a right turn and follow road around.      Come out at the apartments/ bottom of  Beestonley.  turn left and go up the hill to junction Stainland road/

Barkisland road and turn left again.  straight along main road to junction with Rishworth

road    (that’s where Helen Windsor race comes out) turn left down a track which is just a bit further along from the junction. take this track and will bring you out at country lane

turn left.  to junction with red telephone box and turn right.  Go down here.  this is  Penny

hill  (where stainland 7 goes)       follow road and all along stainland dene and back up
